Dr Theo Blöte
Experienced, personalised chiropractic care for the Jimboomba community.
Dr Theo Blöte is a chiropractor at Jimboomba Chiropractic, providing individualised chiropractic care for people and families from Jimboomba, Flagstone, Yarrabilba, Cedar Vale, North Maclean, South Maclean and surrounding communities.
With a strong focus on understanding the person behind the symptoms, Theo’s approach goes beyond simply asking, “Where does it hurt?” He takes the time to understand how a person’s history, movement, posture, previous injuries and everyday demands may be contributing to the problem they are experiencing.
His goal is simple: help people better understand their body, move well and make informed decisions about their health.
Meet Dr Theo
Originally born in the Netherlands, Theo has built his life and chiropractic career in Australia. As a father of five, Theo understands how busy life can become and how easily people can put their own health at the bottom of the priority list.
His interest in chiropractic extends beyond pain relief. He has a particular interest in how the spine, movement and nervous system contribute to the way we function throughout life.
Theo believes healthcare should involve more than simply treating symptoms as they arise. Where appropriate, he encourages patients to understand the factors contributing to their problem and to take an active role in looking after their health. This philosophy shapes the way he practises at Jimboomba Chiropractic.
Areas of clinical interest
Chiropractic care to help relieve back pain caused by posture, work strain and everyday movement issues.
Treatment focused on reducing neck pain, stiffness and restricted movement affecting daily activities.
Chiropractic care for headaches linked to neck tension, posture problems and spinal restriction.
Sciatica & leg pain
Pain travelling into the buttock or leg is often described as sciatica, but several different conditions can produce similar symptoms. Theo's priority is identifying the likely source of the symptoms before recommending an appropriate management approach.
Posture & spinal function
Posture is not simply about standing perfectly straight. Theo is interested in how people move, how their bodies adapt to the demands placed upon them and whether certain movement or postural patterns may be relevant to their symptoms.
Mobility & balance
Remaining active and independent becomes increasingly important as we age. Theo has a strong interest in maintaining movement, strength, balance and confidence throughout life and encourages patients to think proactively about their musculoskeletal health.
